Ultra SCC-3100 Fiber Connector Cleaner is an easy to use, handheld fiber connector cleaning machine for in-adapter cleaning. The ultra SCC-3100 works for singlemode or multimode fiber connectors including FC, SC, ST/PC, APC, etc... It cleans the end-surface of the fiber and connector ferrule to get an optical-quality "clean." The Ultra SCC-3100 uses Lightel's new ultrasonic vacuum-jet cleaning technology. This new design uses high frequency ultrasonic energy, with a powerful jet stream and strong vacuum to clean the tough grease and dust from the fiber-fiber mating interface. The cleaning liquid used by the SCC-3100 is an optical grade super cleaning solvent. It is chemically compatible to all materials in the optical fiber connector system, including epoxy adhesives.
